The ambition is that this will be a list of all radio stations broadcasting on DAB or DAB+ digital radio in the UK. A long way to go, but the list is building up. Stations with logos uploaded are listed first, with the rest following.
DAB+ audio quality is rated based on clarity where direct observations have been made as follows:
- Excellent or Good: where DAB+ gives better sound quality to FM or normal DAB
- Average: where sound quality is comparable or only slight worse than DAB or FM
- Poor: some bubbling sounds, but tolerable
- Appalling – Do Not Listen: where sound quality is so poor, listening to the station is uncomfortable and may give headaches.
